Dr. Marie Jhin is a board certified dermatologist, Asian Skin expert and the director of Premier Dermatology. She has been featured on numerous magazines including Seventeen, Oprah and New Beauty magazine as well as on the local news, TV shows, infomercials, newspapers and on the internet. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and member of the Women's Dermatologic Society. She has been rated as America's Top Doctor for the past 3 years and is on the Who's Who list. She is the recipient of the Asian Women in Business Entrepreneur Leadership Award in 2011. She is on staff at Sequoia Hospital, California Pacific Medical Center and was an Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Stanford University from 2001-2011. Dr. Jhin is the author of a new book titled "Asian Beauty Secrets".

Ashley Aldridge PA-C is originally from Detroit, Michigan. She received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies with honors from Wayne State University in 2010 and completed elective rotations in cosmetic and medical dermatology. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and currently serves as a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the California Academy of Physician Assistants, San Francisco Bay Area Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Since moving to the Bay area, she has worked in specialized wound care facilities and has had extensive training in administering cosmetic injectables. In addition, she has a profound interest in diet and nutrition, especially relating to the skin. She is very proud to join the wonderful team here at Premier Dermatology!

Yelena Wapen received her MD degree from Moscow Medical School and completed a residency in Internal Medicine.
In 1996 she moved to California and graduated from the Stanford Physician Assistant Program in 2004.
Since than, she has worked exclusively in the field of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is board certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the California Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Recently, she has become a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and is ready to offer advice about anti-aging procedures and nutritional changes promoting longevity.
She has a profound interest in complimentary and alternative treatments of skin conditions such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, acne and others.

Dr. Altemus attended Medical School at Midwestern University, in Chicago. She was awarded a scholarship with the U.S. Medical Corps. After completing one year of internship at Letterman Hospital; on the Presideo of San Francisco, she served in Germany, Texas and Washington DC.

After her Dermatology Training at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas Dr. Altemus served at Ft. Lewis Washington and Honolulu, Hawaii. While at Tripler Army Medical Center she treated soldiers departing to and returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. her expertise is in both medical and surgical dermatology.

Dr. Altemus is now happy to be back in San Francisco. In her time off she enjoys hiking, biking, dancing and performing arts. She is the mother of two spirited teenagers and has a pair of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that keep her busy as well!

Gayla Forbes is a Registered Nurse who is also trained and certified to perform Laser Hair Removal, Thermage, Intense
Pulse Light, and Photodynamic Therapy. Gayla received her Registered Nursing degree from De Anza College in Cupertino, California in 1982.

Gayla's nursing experience includes the Veterans Hospital in Palo Alto and working for ABHOW in Los Altos which is a three
level senior care facility in which Gayla spent 20 years. She began working at Premier Dermatology in November of 2003 and
has been a great asset to the office ever since!

Gayla is married to Jon Forbes and they have two sons, one 23 and one 19 years old. Her oldest son currently works in New Jersey for an online publication. Her younger son attends De Anza College with plans to transfer to a college in North
Carolina early in 2010. Jon, her husband is also a nurse, has worked at El Camino Hospital for 24 years.
