Sclerotherapy is the primary treatment procedure to eliminate varicose veins and spider veins. Sclerotherapy involves an injection of a solution directly into the vein- irritating the lining of the blood vessel, causing it to swell and stick together, and the blood to clot. Over a period of weeks, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades, eventually becoming barely noticeable. After several treatments, most patients can expect an 80 ‐ 90 percent improvement.

There are minimal side effects of Sclerotherapy, such as itching, which can last for one or two days after the procedure. Keratosis or Skin Tags are benign, non‐cancerous growths of the outer layer of skin. They tend to appear in midlife, and may be an inherited condition; they are commonly found on the neck, arms, and trunk, but may appear elsewhere on the body, as well.

Skin Tags / Benign Keratosis / Angiomas are easily removed and takes a few minutes. Topical or local anesthetic may be used.

Moles can appear anywhere on the skin and benign moles (Dr. Jhin can perform a medical mole check to review all moles and determine if they are benign), while harmless, can be irritating or unattractive.

The most common methods of removal include numbing the spot and then shaving the mole off, or for some moles, cutting out the entire lesion and stitching the area closed.
