Botox is an FDA approved (2002) cosmetic treatment for
fine lines and wrinkles. It is a non-surgical process
performed in the doctor’s office with minimal discomfort
and downtime.
The process entails several tiny injections of BOTOX
placed directly into the muscles that cause the frown
lines or wrinkles. It works by relaxing the facial muscles
that create wrinkles, leaving smoother skin and
eliminating lines. While no anesthesia is required, the
area is treated with a cold pack or anesthetic cream.
You will see improvements within days and may
continue for as long as a month. Treatment results will
vary, but will usually last between 4‐6 months.
Botox is also very effective for moderate to severe
underarm sweating, as well as with other health and
cosmetic problems. Please consult with Dr. Jhin and her
staff for additional applications.

Facial fillers are an ideal treatment for correcting
by products of aging-loss of skin elasticity and volume that
can result in wrinkles and folds. There are many types of
fillers available; Dr Jhin and her staff will discuss the options
and help you choose the filler that may work best for your
skin type and needs.
Fillers work by adding volume to the injected area to restore a
healthy, natural look. Fillers are placed into the depth of
facial folds and wrinkles; upon injection, fillers will
immediately add volume to safely add natural contours to the
face and beautify facial features.
Fillers are most commonly used in smile lines, or
nasolabial fold (the creases that run from the bottom of your
nose to the corners of your mouth), on the cheeks to address
sagging cheekbones, on the face to correct the signs of facial
fat loss and on the lips to restore fullness and enhance the
appearance of the lips.
In addition, acne, chicken pox and other depressed scars can
be improved with filler treatments.
The injection process takes about 15 to 30 minutes, results
are immediate and last approximately six months to a year
depending on the filler.
